Spiderwick Chronicles Walkthrough part 2

after Simon bring the monocles to Jared, there will be a cut scene. Simon has being kidnapped by the goblins. Jared must rescue him. First, take a sprite net in front of you, (press L1 to change between weapon and sprite net) then go out to the main gate and catch the leather wing sprite which has an ability to heal you (note : each time you catch a new sprite, you must draw it first). After done, go to the forest gate (beside the garden shed). You'll find three goblins here for training. after beat them, continue your journey. in the forest, the goblins will keep coming out from nowhere. so, it's up to you if you choose to keep beat them or go for quest first. in the forest, first go ahead until a cross road. turn right here (go ahead = dead end, turn left = die) and then go up. then turn left to a wide space which has 3 stray sods. if you want to catch the stray sod, you must make it dizzy first by keep moving around it while it's watching your move. then go ahead and you'll find a hole, turn back, then turn right to upper side, jump to the bud surfaces. there was a bull goblin in this area, if you beat him, you will get three goblin's teeth and gobstone. then push the logs to make a bridge. go back, get across the hole using the bridge you have made. keep go ahead to the high quarry after you pass a swamp. after you arrived to the quarry, first take a fuse in the fuse box on the small building. then turn left, go up to the cliff (because the path is blocked). follow the way (and defeated the goblins too) until a ladder on a small building to go down. break the small building's door, take the aluminium bat inside, then go out, turn left, place the fuse you have take in the fuse box. then back to the building and activate the machine to make a bridge to get across. after get across, go down using a ladder. you'll meet a hobgoblin named Hogsqueal. but he's in the cage. he told you that he can help you rescue Simon, so free him, go to the downside, hit the three fan blades using your slingshot. then go back and talk to Hogsqueal. after cutscene, you control Simon now, go out from the quarry! the goblins will attack you from all direction, so keep your zig zag run. now you use Jared. when you reach the swamp, a river troll will appear. to get pass, you must feed him, lure ten goblins to him so he will go back to the swamp. after that Simon will run again, but now you must protect him from the goblins until the mansion. you will hear Mallory's scream. find her. she is in the place she ussualy use for training (like a small hut). give her the monocles. now you control Mallory. beat the "redcap". he will always block your attacks. so disarm his sword by press X button if he try to attack you. do this until he flee. now you use Simon again, you must find :

1. bicycle pump : in the third floor near the entrance to the hidden study.
2. soda bottle : behind the kitchen's door
3. duct tape : in the garage
4. hase nozzle : in the table in the garden
5. old pipe : in the bathroom in front of Simon's and Jared's room
6. vinegar : in the hidden study
7. oat meal : in the kitchen
8. salt : beside the Mallory's room's door
9 tomato sauce : between the dumbwaiter and the refrigerator (kitchen)

then go to the workbench to make the splattergun. after done, go to the garage (not come in) find a fire salamander near it. spray it first to make it safe, then take it by pressing the O button. then go back to the place where Mallory and Jared was. put the fire salamander inside the basket.
